What we do
COUNSENUTH is a women-led national NGO in Tanzania, established in 1998 to improve the lives of women, children, youth, and vulnerable groups. With over 25 years of experience, it operates from Dar-Es-Salaam and has offices in Dodoma, Tunduru, Kigoma, and Mbeya. The organization works across Mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar.
COUNSENUTH is an indigenous, prominent, women-led, national, non-governmental organization dedicated to improving the quality of life for women, children, adolescents, youth and vulnerable groups in Tanzania. The Centre was established in 1998, and after over 25 years of experience, COUNSENUTH has built a strong organizational base and leadership, operating from its Headquarters in Dar-Es-Salaam and other offices in Dodoma (Chemba), Tunduru, and Kigoma and Mbeya, and working in all regions of Tanzania Mainland and Zanzibar.
