BACKGROUND
The
Centre for Counselling, Nutrition and Health Care (COUNSENUTH) is a leading
Non-Governmental Organization (NGO) in Tanzania that is committed to achieving
optimal nutrition and a healthy, quality life for children, youth, women, and
other vulnerable groups. For more than 25 years the Centre has been committed
to improving quality of life and has actively made tangible progress and a difference
in the health, nutritional wellbeing of the people of Tanzania, especially the
most vulnerable groups through the use of a human rights approach, gender
transformation and active citizen participation.
INTRODUCTION
COUNSENUTH
has received funds for the operation of its Gender - driven and Learning –
based Nutrition Program in Chemba District, Dodoma Region for the 6th
financial year. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be
used to cover eligible payment for the procurement of a company/firm to drill
and construct complete 5 boreholes at Chemba DC in Dodoma Region. COUNSENUTH through the Lishe - Kijinsia
Program under the financial support of Irish Aid, will facilitate the drilling
of water wells in the neediest villages as per the district priorities to
improve access of clean safe water and reduce women/girls’ workload in the
surveyed villages.
SCOPE OF SERVICE
COUNSENUTH invites Quotations from
eligible and registered local suppliers who can drill the productive borehole depth 150m – 340m deep, 220m diameter, well
development and capping casing 6’’ diameter, cleaning, pumping test and water quality
analysis.
CRITERIA
1.
The quote should be valid for at least 30 days.
2.
A current and updated company profile must be submitted.
3.
Copies of registration certificate, valid business
license, TIN number and any other relevant documents
4.
Evidence of similar work/assignment with at least three
references from clients served must be submitted.
5.
Payment terms must be indicated.
6.
Late or incomplete documents will not be accepted.
7.
Lowest or reasonable price, technically evaluated,
meeting specification.
Please
note that should you be selected, you will be required to provide an EFD
receipt after the payment from COUNSENUTH.
