In 2023, the Centre continued its commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through several impactful projects. One significant initiative is the Nutrition Care and Support Services at the Ocean Road Cancer Institute (ORCI). This project focuses on providing dietary counseling to cancer patients and their families, helping them manage nutritional challenges associated with cancer treatment.
Another key project, Wasichana Leadership, aims to provide secondary school education to girls from vulnerable families who cannot afford the costs. This initiative is made possible through financial contributions from the Centre’s staff and supportive friends, ensuring that these girls have access to educational opportunities that empower them for a brighter future.
Additionally, the Centre runs an Interns/Volunteers project designed to offer fresh graduates practical experience and skills through placements in COUNSENUTH programs. This initiative not only enhances the interns’ employability but also strengthens the Centre’s capacity by integrating new talent and perspectives into its operations.
