Kilimo kwa Lishe Bora is a project under the Agroforestry for Sustainable Livelihoods and Biodiversity (ASILI-B), a five-year program (2023-2027) led by Vi Agroforestry, working with farmers’ organizations to fight poverty and climate change through the promotion of biodiversity, re-forestation and sustainable agriculture. The Centre’s mandate within this project is to provide gender-responsive nutrition-related technical support to the ASILI B Core and Technical Partners so that they can integrate nutrition interventions into their programming and hence scale the knowledge to the farmers’ organizations that are under their support.
ASILI B’s broad objective is to improve smallholder farmers’ family’s food and nutrition security, sustainable livelihoods, gender equality, and resilience while enhancing biodiversity conservation and climate change mitigation in Tanzania.
